Swamp People Star ‘Trapper’ Joe LaFont Was Arrested In California

Swamp People star Joe LaFont, "Trapper Joe," was arrested in Orange County Wednesday morning on Domestic Abuse charges. According to TMZ, LaFont and his girlfriend got into an altercation and police were called-in.Details in this case remain unclear, but according to TMZ LaFont is being held on $1,500 bond. While the hit show on the History Channel "Swamp People" often claims that LaFont is the step-dad to his right hand man, Tommy, it is a known fact that "Trapper Joe" and Tommy's mom are no longer together. We hope that this case is soon resolved. We met both Joe and his girlfriend at a recent Townsquare Media event and they are really good people.
