TaD’s of Youngsville Opens its Doors, Offering Seafood and Louisiana Restaurant Favorites

The culinary landscape of Youngsville just got a whole lot tastier with the grand opening of TaD’s of Youngsville, a restaurant specializing in Seafood and Cajun cuisine.

Located at 2600 Bonin Road near Sugar Mill Pond and the roundabout, this marks the latest addition to the TaD’s family, which already operates restaurants in Katy, TX, College Station, TX, and Lake Charles, LA.

The announcement was made via TaD’s official Facebook page, inviting locals to indulge in their world-famous Crawfish Étouffée, Chicken and Sausage Gumbo, and an array of other delicious offerings.

A Menu for Every Palate

TaD’s of Youngsville will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, giving food lovers in the area ample time to satisfy their cravings. With a diverse menu featuring traditional dishes, breakfast bowls, seafood specials, steaks, boiled crawfish, pastas, crab, sandwiches, salads, desserts, and much more, there's something for everyone.

Speaking with a Youngsville resident who ate lunch at TaD's on the first day the restaurant was open, we were told that "Youngsville residents are in for a treat."

With its Cajun roots and home-style cooking, TaD’s aims to provide a cozy spot for Youngsville residents and visitors from throughout Acadiana to gather, whether to watch a game or just enjoy an ice-cold beverage.

Community Enthusiasm

Youngsville Mayor Ken Ritter expressed his excitement, stating, “I’m excited that they’re open and appreciate their investment in Youngsville. Looking forward to enjoying many lunches and dinners there.”

The mayor's sentiment echoes the community’s anticipation for the restaurant’s opening.

Rooted in Tradition

This isn't TaD's first rodeo, by far. According to the "our story" section on their website, the culinary journey began over 25 years ago with DC's Sportsbar and Steakhouse in Eunice, Louisiana. The owners then expanded their flavorful vision to Texas with Seafood on the Geaux in Katy, TX, in 2014. TaD’s Louisiana Cooking was conceived as an evolution, offering a wider variety of dishes and a comfortable atmosphere for dining and socializing.

In keeping with the convenience factor, TaD’s of Youngsville will feature a pick-up window for easy grab-and-go options. For those looking to linger, a patio and bar area offer the perfect setting for letting the good times roll—or as they say at TaD’s, "Le Bon temps rouler!"

TaD's will be open Monday - Friday they at 11 a.m. serving brunch/lunch & dinner.

On Saturday & Sunday, TaD's will open at 8 a.m. for breakfast.
