Dreams of passenger rail from Louisiana to the beaches of the Gulf Coast are a little closer to become reality this morning following a major announcement.
The Southern Rail Commission met September 8th to discuss passenger rail service between New Orleans and Mobile, New Orleans and Baton Rouge, and an I-20 route across north Louisiana.
