An Acadia Parish woman is speaking out after she claims she was dragged out of her vehicle and arrested by Church Point Police.

Police say childish incidents that harm people will continue to be investigated.

The 31-year-old man was last seen on September 6.

A Church Point police officer was injured on Sunday after trying to stop two men wanted in connection with recent shootings.

The incident happened last month but the arrest was made earlier this week.

Chief Dale Thibodeaux's request to be suspended was denied. So, he wrote himself up for a violation of police policy.
