You can actively help get Trader Joe's to Lafayette.

Louisiana has two Trader Joe's locations, one in Baton Rouge, and another in Metairie off of Veterans. The state of Texas puts Louisiana to shame with 20 stores total. The recall issued by the FDA will effect these stores along with 16 other states.

As if we Lafayette needed another reason to get a Trader Joe's; these mini-totes sell for less than $5 but resellers are getting close to $1000 online.

One of my favorite shows cranks up with an all new season tonight. 'Swamp People' is a show on The History Channel that features gator hunters right here in our backyard of Cajun Country. Season 2 brings us new cast members and also our favorites from Season 1.

This past weekend, when I heard that Joe & Tommy from The History Channels "Swamp People" were in town, I made it a point to catch-up with them. Around the office, these are the two cast members we talk most about when "Swamp People" comes up in conversation.
