A New Iberia girl is missing and authorities are hoping that you have information on her whereabouts.

She was last seen just west of New Iberia, and she was wearing a pink long sleeve shirt, blue jeans and pink shoes.

According to the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office, the 16-year-old is Jacelynn Foret, and she was last seen on April 19th in Duson.

According to the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Department, the 15-year-old is Jaidyn Capritto, and she was last seen on April 8th in Carencro.

Her purse and cell phone were found inside the abandoned vehicle, which was towed after someone crashed into it on the Mississippi River Bridge.

She was last seen wearing a hoodie, a ball cap, and was carrying a backpack.

Yesterday the mother of the man accused of kidnapping and murdering UL student Mickey Shunick spoke out and offered her condolences to the entire Shunick family.  Now, the mother of 33-year-old Brandon Scott Lavergne reveals via a Facebook post that she adopted Lavergne at birth.

Today's press conference in relation to the recent arrest connected to the disappearance of Mickey Shunick confirmed a lot of information firsthand from the Lafayette Police Department, but still left a lot of questions unanswered.
