Opelousas Man’s “Joke” Lands Him in Jail on Child Abuse Charge
27-year-old Rasiem Fredericks of Opelousas has been arrested after he allegedly slapped a 6-year-old boy who he says was being disrespectful to him on Christmas Day.
According to a press release from St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz, Fredericks was with the 6-year-old child, as well as a 2-year-old and a 1-year-old while their mother was away from her home in the 100 block of Castille Road
