Today Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal issued a proclamation calling for a statewide moment of silence tomorrow (Dec. 21) at 9:30 A.M. in memory of the victims who lost their lives a week ago in the Sandy Hook tragedy.
Just days after the tragedy from a elementary school in Newton, Connecticut we are now learning the names and seeing the faces of those who put themselves in harms way to protect the kids at the school. Teachers, administrators, and other staff members attempted to confront the gunman as he went on his rampage, and sadly, many are no longer with us today.
As the nation continues to mourn the tragedy from Sandy Hook Elementary School, we are now learning more and more about the details of that very tragic day. It seems like investigators are beginning to piece things together, and now family members of both the victims and the perpetrator are speaking out.
