schools closed

While most area schools are open today (Friday, May 17), we do know of a couple of schools/school systems in south Louisiana that are closed today.

Water issues in various capacities are the culprit for multiple schools in the area having to close again on Thursday, January 18.

As winter weather approaches south Louisiana, some schools are preparing for the weather on Tuesday, January 29, 2019.

School officials say out of an abundance of caution, closing schools for Friday, December 8 is the best decision.

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette has announced that the campus will be open Monday August 28, 2017.
