A week-long search for 18-year-old Javion Batiste has gripped the local community and beyond as his mother, Nichole Jagneaux, remains determined to find her missing son.
UPDATE (9/21): Teton County Coroner Dr. Brent Blue confirmed the remains found are those of Gabby Petito. The initial determination for the manner of death is homicide but the official cause of death "remains pending final autopsy results."
A huge break came today in the search for a missing Lafayette girl, when authorities located remains in Evangeline Parish that they believe belong to Mickey Shunick.

For the first time detectives believe they may have evidence that Mickey Shunick did indeed get on her bike and attempt to ride home early Saturday morning (May 19th, 2012).
