A power surge at the Superdome in New Orleans knocked out a number of the lights causing play to be disrupted (sabotage by the 49ers perhaps?). The delay is expected to be up to a half hour long. Let's hope the break doesn't mess with anyone's focus.

It's official. The San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens will face off in New Orleans for Super Bowl XLVII. Fans of both teams, and the NFL alike will make their way to the Big Easy to enjoy the big game and all the festivities that surround it.

The Superdome is going under some serious remodeling right now, mainly in preparation for it's hosting of the upcoming Super Bowl XLVII in 2013. Along with remodeling work inside the dome, there is also continued construction outside the dome in Champion's Square as well.
