Surveillance footage and 911 calls released today convey the chaos surrounding the tragic events of last Thursday at the Grand 16 Theater in Lafayette.
FoxNews is reporting that the man accused of killing 12 people and injuring more that 50 in the Aurora, Colorado theater shooting may have sent his plan of action to a psychiatrist. The reports says James Holmes mailed a notebook "full of details about how he was going to kill people" to a University of Colorado psychiatrist before the attack.
Police say that 12 people are dead and more than 59 people were wounded after an individual stormed into a "Batman" premiere in a Colorado theater and opened fire. The violent and chaotic scene erupted about 12:30 a.m. MDT as a gunman stood at the front of one of the Century 16 theaters at the Aurora Mall where the latest Batman movie "The Dark Knight Rises" was playing.
