Thankfully, I've made it through life so far without ever having a vehicle stolen from me. I've had a few I had wished someone would take off my hands, but to no avail. For many Louisianians, unfortunately having a car stolen from them is something they've had to deal with. According to a new report from the Center for Retail Research, the most frequently stolen food on the planet is… cheese. The report says four percent of the protein and calcium-rich (not to mention tasty) food winds up being shoplifted worldwide every year, besting the theft-rates for other items like candy and alcohol and causing cheese to be labeled “high risk” for retailers.

We have all heard bizarre stories of folks shoplifting, but this story goes down as one of my favorites!! D'Iberville Police arrested a man at Winn Dixie Tuesday who they say was trying to leave the store with two live lobsters in his shorts, among other meat products.
