A vaping company has offered former LSU Track star Sha' Carri Richardson an endorsement deal worth a quarter of a million dollars.

Soon it will be illegal to vape with a child in the car in Louisiana.

Both the Louisiana House of Representatives and Senate have passed a bill that would make illegal to use a vape or e-cigarette while a child is in the car as well.

There have been 35 reported cases of lung injuries involving e-cigarettes or vaping products since August of 2019.

Middle and high school students in our state are vaping at twice the rate they were in 2017.

A mysterious illness is impacting vapers and E-cigarette users across the country and the Louisiana Department of Health is warning medical professionals to keep an eye out for symptoms.

The Center for Disease Control is investigating over 190 cases of vaping-related lung illness, according to a press release.

The new policy means the possibility of suspension and expulsion for students who vape or bring vaping materials on campus.

Luckily, administrators are aware of the issue and according to Assistant Superintendent Joe Craig, vaping is handled just like cigarettes.
