Another recall has been announced.

Tesla has announced that it is recalling over 1 million of its vehicles.

According to a document released by Tesla, the automatic window reversal system may not react or detect an obstruction, thus windows could pinch someone's fingers.

While this is a violation of federal safety standards for power windows, Tesla says a software update should alleviate the potential mishap.

If you own a Tesla, the recall center around certain 2017 to 2022 Model 3 sedans and some 2020 and 2021 Model Y SUVs.

Also included in the recall are some Model S sedans and Model X SUVs from 2021 and 2022.

Owners whose vehicles may be part of this recall will be notified via a letter, and Tesla reports that those vehicles currently in production have been updated with the latest to avoid this potential hazard.

According to Tesla, no one as of Sept. 16 has been injured by the faulty windows on some of the select models.
