Yesterday, Wednesday May 7th, my friend Lance Bijeaux submitted this photo of a GIANT potato on the trailer of an 18-wheeler. The photo was taken at the Henderson/Cecila exit off of I-10.

The World's Largest Potato, which remains a secret if it is actually real, is on tour to raise Funds AND Awareness for the Meals on Wheels program. The tour consist of covering over 22,000 miles across the country.

A few interesting facts about the 6-ton "potato" is that if it were real it would take more that 10,000 years to grow, it would take 2 years and 9 months to bake, and it could make 30,325 servings of mashed potatoes and 1.4 million average-sized fries.

Did anyone see this massive structure near the Henderson exit yesterday, or did you see it cruising down I-10? I sure hope that big potato doesn't fall off the truck on the basin bridge. Now, that would be a mess!!
