The 2nd Most Expensive House in Lake Charles
I initially wrote about the most expensive house currently in Lake Charles. After a phone call to our front office about the article, I now present to you the second most expensive house in Lake Charles. The second most expensive house in Lake Charles is a doozy of a property for sure.
First off, it is sitting on almost 16 acres of property. That in itself is a heck of a start to buying a house. Although it doesn't sit directly on the water, it comes with its own pond, creek, and island on the property. The main house boasts 3 full bathrooms with each having its own whirlpool tub. It has nine horse stalls, 4 pastures with barns, a round pen, and it's all fenced in with an electric fence on top of all of that.
Of course it has a saltwater pool to relax in with your very own oasis in the backyard. There is an art studio towards the back of the property with vaulted ceilings. The main house has three bedrooms with a giant master suite and closet, breakfast nook, and tons of view to stare out at your 16 acres of God's country.
There is also what seems to be bars galore out in the back, but what makes me love it the most is the pond and river combo that branches off. The river forms a small island that you can get to over some rocks where some pergolas are scattered around. The garden and art studio just add to the wow factor of this oasis, and nothing about this place looks like it belongs in Lake Charles.
You can get your hands on this home away from home for $1.5m, and change your address to Elliot Road. Zillow breaks those payments down for you to an estimated $6,216 bucks a month. Sometimes second place is just as good.
