Do you remember The Great Boudini from KADN Fox 15 back in the '90s? Well, he's still around—and you can totally book him for your next event.

According to his website, Ken Meaux is an artist, cartoonist, traiteur, ventriloquist, actor, and incredibly interesting Cajun from Kaplan, LA. He is probably best known as "The Great Boudini"—a character that entertained us in between our favorite after-school programs during our childhood.

Just as popular as Meaux's "Boudini" character was the ventriloquist's sidekick, "CoCo"—a sassy foam Cajun alligator known for his mischievous antics and witty comebacks. The duo made us want anything they advertised, from Steen's syrup to those totally awesome "Cajun Hot Acadiana Kids" t-shirts.

Ken currently resides in Kaplan with his wife, Stella, and is still available to do shows as "The Great Boudini." Any Acadiana eighties baby who watched television will remember how exciting it was when his segment came on—and if you were lucky, you had the opportunity to catch his live show at Pizza Playhouse.

"The Great Boudini" is the reason many of us drove our parents crazy to let us join the "Fox Kids Club" and as you can see in the video above, Meaux has not lost his natural flair for entertaining the kids.

In my opinion, the nostalgia alone is worth every penny of his booking fee.
