Rappers T.I. and Game were involved in an intense standoff with the Los Angeles Police Department outside of a Los Angeles club early Wednesday morning (April 30).

In a video shot by TMZ, Tip and Chuck Taylor confront police after they try to help two men who got into an unruly brawl. At first, the entertainers thought the police had beaten them up, but that wasn’t the case.

Apparently, the melee started when security guards wouldn’t allow a group of men from the rappers’ entourage to enter the Supperclub. One of the men started arguing with a member of security and allegedly threw a punch at him. Then fisticuffs ensued.

In the clip (watch below), a man can be seen laying face-down on the ground while a security guard kicks him repeatedly. Later, several guards struggle to keep another man pinned to the ground until police arrive at the scene.

During the confrontation with LAPD, T.I. can be heard saying, "Is this a crime scene? Y’all got a lot of people to beat up. We got good lawyers."

Eventually, the huge crowd was told that security assaulted the two men. "Yo, the police didn't do it... security did!" yelled a bystander. At which point T.I. and The Game turn their attention to club’s security team and another skirmish erupts.

According to TMZ, the two men were taken to LAPD's Hollywood division but no charges were filed and they were let go.

T.I. and Game have not commented on the police standoff or the brutal fight that took place.
