Do you do this as seasons change?

If you live down south you know that it can be a challenge for all of us when it comes to trying to cool your home during the summer months.

But did you know that there is a simple way to better cool your home in the summer? Yes, all that you have to do is reverse the rotation of your ceiling fan(s).

Simply get on a ladder and set your fan to rotate in a counter-clockwise direction. This will force the cooler to drop in your home.

However, in the winter, you'll want to reverse the rotation of the fan again (setting it to the clockwise rotation).

This simple tip could help you conserve energy while being a bit cooler in your home or apartment during the summer months.

Another tip I'll throw in here is for you to set your thermostat to 76-78 degrees during the hottest time of the day. This allows your AC unit to not work so hard during the hottest times of the day and it actually helps keep your home cool.
