A Look at Tomi Lahren’s Bad Relationship With Hip-Hop
Tomi Lahren might be a hip-hop fan in some weird way, but more than a few rappers have made it clear that they are not fans of her derogatory opinions.
Ever since she criticized Jay-Z for his drug-dealing past back in 2016, rap artists have refused to even call her by her real first name. After Wale became the first rapper to dub her "Tammy" in 2017, others like The Game, Cardi B and Nicki Minaj have all taken turns putting the Republican TV personality in her place over the years.
For what it's worth, Tomi has offered a sliver of support for artists like Lil Wayne and 21 Savage in the past. However, her controversial remarks regarding 21 Savage's ICE arrest and now her back and forth with Joyner Lucas seems to outweigh any past positive interactions.
Recently, Joyner included Tomi in his new video for "Devil's Work." In the video, her photo appears on an easel in front of a casket. When Joyner raps about resurrecting people he admires in the rap game, he mentions trading them in for people he deems undesirable like Tomi and her Fox News cohort Laura Ingraham.
"I pray you give us back the real ones and try again/Or maybe take them niggas that deserve to die instead/Tomi Lahren run her mouth and then she get defensive/Laura Ingraham laughin' at death and disrespectin'/I really feel like you should teach them stupid hoes a lesson/Either that or give us back somebody who deserve the blessings," Joyner raps in the song.
Although she and Joyner may link up to talk things out, we can't say the same for the other rappers who have come at her in the past year or so. Watch the video above for a detailed breakdown of Tomi Lahren's bad relationship with hip-hop.
