Well, this is quite embarrassing. Too $hort's arrest has been captured on video. The clip shows the veteran rapper unsuccessfully trying to flee from police.

As we previously reported, Short Dawg was arrested and placed into custody Wednesday morning (March 20) for DUI after running from the scene. He was quickly apprehended. Police also slapped him with drug possession charges after $hort allegedly tried to dump drugs in the backseat of the police cruiser.

David Weintraub, a rep for the 'Blow the Whistle' rapper, denies the drugs -- allegedly, ecstasy laced with meth -- belonged to his client. "Short was diligently searched and cuffed prior to being placed in the disgustingly filthy patrol car," he said. "It was 3 a.m., the cop car smelled like vomit and was littered with remnants from prior arrests of the evening."

Police have informed TMZ that patrol cars are always cleaned and inspected after every arrest.

The rep also defended $hort's bad mistake of running away from the police. "In the past, $hort, like many others, has been mistreated by law enforcement and these unfortunate prior incidents led to the complications after the stop," he said.

What do you think? Is Too $hort being victimized by the LAPD? Or did he make too many bad decisions on the night of his arrest? Tell us in the comments below.
