The world says goodbye to another one-of-a-kind innovator.

On Monday afternoon (Nov. 12), the Associated Press reported that Stan Lee, the man responsible for creating or co-creating Marvel Comics classics like Spider-Man, X-Men, Black Panther and many more, passed away at the age of 95. In the hours since his death, which was preceded by an emergency hospital trip earlier today, folks from across the rap world have jumped onto social media to pay tribute to the icon.

Among the first rap world inhabitants to pay tribute to the rapper was Travis Scott, who tweeted out a broad message commemorating the legacy of the creator. "Thank u Stan Lee for everything," he wrote.

Soon after Scott's tweet, Lil Yachty also chimed in, writing, "RIP STAN LEE!!!!!!" onto his Twitter account.

Noted comic book fan Lupe Fiasco also paid tribute to the memory of the late innovator. Appropriately enough, he alluded to Lee's penchant for making unpredictable cameos in Marvel movies. "And Stan Lee makes his cameo in the afterlife. Thank You Sir. May God have mercy on your soul," Lupe wrote.

Others paying homage include Lil Yachty, Ice-T, Raekwon and more. Peep the reactions for yourself below.
