Twitter Defines Adulthood In Four Words – Our 10 Favorite Tweets

It is true we all grow older. It is not true that while we grow older we grow more mature. Evidence to support that tongue in cheek view of becoming an adult has been quite prevalent on the social media site Twitter over the past few days.

Twitter users employing the #Adulthoodin4Words have really nailed what those of us who don’t want to grow up are feeling. Unfortunately what a lot of us are feeling is quite painful.

So as we see the number of candles on our birthday cakes growing larger each year we can at least enjoy the sense of humor and the camaraderie of those who are desperately attempting to turn back time or at least slow it down.
