Tyrann Mathieu doesn't want you calling him the Honey Badger anymore. And despite a rough 2012 that included getting kicked off of the LSU football team for violating team rules and being arrested months later for marijuana possesion; the former college superstar football player also believes he was the best player at the NFL combine.

TMZ caught up with the Mathieu yesterday when he arrived in L.A. to do a segment for ESPN's "Sports Science" and chatted with 'the athlete formerly known as Honey Badger' about his future NFL pro career. As you will see in the video below, Tyrann was not modest in the least bit.

For what it's worth, on paper Mathieu had a very impressive combine performance - running a 4.50 in the 40-yard dash, and killing it in the position drills. He's projected to be picked somewhere around the 4th round -- but I think it's possible that we will see him go higher once the draft takes place in April.

Watch the video to find out who Tyrann Mathieu says he would like to play for in the NFL. I'm sure they are wishing they had him about 2 months ago, lol.
