In response to help out Lafayette residents affected by this morning's flooding, U-Haul is offering a helping hand to those in need.

From the U-Haul press release, the company is offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box® container usage to residents in and around Lafayette that have been impacted by flooding.

Jerry Bowden, U-Haul Company of South Central Louisiana president says "Many areas saw intense downpours on Wednesday. With more rain expected before the weekend, U-Haul would like to step in and offer a dry and secure place for folks to store their belongings. Our disaster relief program has become a staple of our commitment to the local communities we serve.”
