UL Softball Using Helmets To Honor Geri Ann Glasco
Have you seen the batting helmets that the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns will be using this softball season?
To honor Geri Ann Glasco, the late daughter of UL head coach Gerry Glasco, who was tragically killed in an auto accident in late January, the Cajuns will be using batting helmets with special stickers.
The new helmets, some of which are gray this year, will honor Glasco by having a "Geri Ann" sticker on the back, above the number 12, which she wore as a college player.
The helmets looks great, but the most important thing is honoring the memory of Geri Ann, and this does it in a class way.
