Umpire Walks Away From Game While Parents Heckle Him [VIDEO]

He had enough.

A home plate umpire walked away from a game after parents would not stop heckling him. The umpire did not care that the kids were in the middle of the game, he heard enough.

Now the debate is on. Should the umpire have handled the situation differently? Was he unprofessional to just walk away from the game? That's the debate on social media.

Sure, he could have asked the person(s) running the park to address it, but we must remember, umpires and referees are human too. Like you and me, they too can only take so much.

I don't know if this ump plans to quit calling games, but I'd bet that he is contemplating the idea of hanging it up.
