University Removes Pendulum After Guys Rode It Naked Like Miley Cyrus

If you thought the twerking craze that swept the nation in the wake of Miley Cyrus' 'We Can't Stop' video was wild, her follow up single looks to be just as influential. Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan has removed a 42-inch steel pendulum ball after guys were riding it naked like Miley Cyrus and her new 'Wrecking Ball' video.

The university has claimed to have removed the steel ball for "safety reasons" after numerous videos showing naked men riding the ball like Miley Cyrus surfaced on the popular video sharing app, Vine. GVSU head of facilities Tim Thimmesch would not give a time table on when and if they would put the pendulum back, and would not comment on whether or not the Vine videos were the cause of the it's removal.

Students led a protest on campus Tuesday night, using the hashtag #ReinstallTheBall.

I just hope they wipe that thing down. Yuck.
