U.S. Air Force Sergeants Drop a Rap Song
What do you get when you combine the men and women of the U.S. Air Force and trap music? A fun and energetic rap video that will make you stand at attention.
On Monday (June 10), the guys at the F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Wyoming dropped a trap music-inspired song and video that goes really hard. The visual, titled “Get In Step,” features the Air Force security forces (and K-9 dogs) showcasing how they protect our freedom through teamwork and military strength.
Tech. Sgt. Torrey Kilpatrick and Tech. Sgt. Darrin Tullis deliver empowering rhymes with plenty of bravado in their well-directed video that deserves equal play time on BET Jams.
"For the guts, honor and the glorified/Screaming woof, my war cry," raps TSgt Torrey Kilpatrick in his patriotic flow. He then adds, "expect nothing less though/Kevlar in my vest though/Sometimes it gets stressful/I'm not rich but I'm blessed though."
According to an AirForceTimes.com’ report published on Thursday (June 14), the video was filmed and edited by Senior Airman Jonathan Williams. So far, the clip has garnered over 81,000 views on YouTube.
All it needs now is a remix. Maybe Ice-T or Freddie Gibbs can add some more flavor to it since both rappers once served in the military. It could happen.
Anyway, salute to the men and women in the armed forces. Thank you for your sacrifice and service.
