Wallet Stolen Out Of Shopper’s Purse At Lafayette Store – Suspects Distracted Victim

Lafayette Police are in search of two suspects that were involved in the theft of a woman's wallet at a local grocery store. According to reports, the victim was shopping when she was distracted by one of the suspects while the other suspect took the wallet out of the victim's purse.

According to the above report, Lafayette Police said that the incident occurred at the Albertson's on Ambassador Caffery the evening of March 23, 2021.

More details from the Lafayette Police Department say that the female suspect distracted the victim inside of the grocery store while the male suspect took the victim's wallet out of her purse.

After stealing the wallet, the two suspects went to a nearby store and used the victim's credit card to make a purchase.
