If you've ever envisioned your favorite childhood TV characters singing classic California rap songs, today is your lucky day. A YouTuber by the name of Mylo The Cat did the leg work for you and mined through hours of Sesame Street stock footage to make Bert, Ernie, Grover and more lip sync the lyrics to this iconic West Coast jam. For a '90s rap fan, or even just a kid who grew up on the awesome kid's programming, the nostalgia vibes are at an all time high. Since uploading the 2:50 minute clip yesterday (March 28), the mashup has surpassed 200,000 views and counting. Not bad for a day's work. Check out how Ernie lays down his rhymes perfectly just as Warren G did back in '94. Regulators, mount up!

With it's smooth, G-funk sound and laid back flow, "Regulate" by Warren G and Nate Dogg was the standout single from Warren's 1994 debut studio album Regulate...G Funk Era. The single made for perfect cruising music and also appeared on the film soundtrack to Above The Rim. "Regulate" peaked at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Rap Singles chart and was nominated for a 1995 Grammy Award in the category of Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group. The iconic track has been remixed by hip-hop's contemporaries over the years, from Jadakiss to Nelly, but the original beat remains a favorite among rap fans.

Mylo is the same YouTube user responsible for giving the Internet muppet mashups of Bone Thugs n Harmony's "Tha Crossroads", Beastie Boy's "Whatcha Want" and Ol' Dirty Bastard's "Shimmy Shimmy Ya". Check out Mylo's newest mashup above.
