This is the last place you want to be during a rain delay.

A member of the Washington Nationals grounds crew held on for dear life as long as he could during a fourth-inning rain delay against the Phillies.

As you can see in the video, the grounds team brought out the tarp when one member tripped and fell. I have to give him props for finding his way out so quickly because I know this situation all too well.

When I was a senior football player in high school, we did one of those "run through paper" things during a pep rally and I got caught up in the loose paper strips and tumbled to the ground. Every time I attempted to get up, one of my teammates found a way to push me back down to the ground. (great teammates, right?)

Eventually, once everyone had passed me up, I was able to get up and follow the team to the sideline. Definitely one of the most embarrassing moments of my life, so I can only imagine how this grounds crew member felt in front of a way larger crowd.

But as they say: It isn't how many times you fall, it's how many times you get up—right?
