Could the New Orleans Saints lose a receiver to the Baltimore Ravens?

Well, a few things still have to happen, but it's possible.

The Saints used the lowest contract tender on Snead, which grants them the right of first refusal on any offer sheet.

If the Saints fail to match any potential offer sheet, the team that signs him would not have to forfeit any draft compensation.

The 25-year old Snead accumulated 141 catches for 1,879 yards and 7 touchdowns during the 2015-2016 seasons, including a solid 2016 campaign, in which he caught a career-high 72 passes for 895 yards, to go along with a career-high 4 touchdowns.

A native of Winter Park, Florida, Snead had a rough 2017 campaign, however.

Snead was suspended for three games, after crashing into a parked car and failing a breathalyzer test in September, before catching only 8 passes for 92 yards for the entire season.

After playing his college football at Ball St., where he caught 223 passes for 2,991 yards and 26 touchdowns, Snead went undrafted in the 2014 NFL Draft, before signing with the Cleveland Browns as a free agent.

The 5-foot-11, 195-pound Snead made the final round of cuts with the Browns, before being released, and then later signed to the practice squad of the Carolina Panthers, prior to joining the Saints' practice squad in December of 2014.
