Willow Smith Delivers the Truth on ‘Rta’
Willow Smith is developing her own eclectic, unique sound and it suits her well. The singer debuts the D'artiste-produced "Rta," delivering lines about the ups and downs of young love and her quest for freedom.
The spacey track kicks off with an airy vibe from the 14-year-old artist. "If you want to know the truth I'll tell ya, I'll tell ya / If you really want to go to London, I'll sell ya, I'll sell ya," she sings.
Although "Rta" is a far cry from 2010's "Whip My Hair," the distance from a song like that proves she's extremely versatile. Her new music compliments her poetic and melodic space -- she's clearly interested in more complex subject matter these days.
In addition to this effort, she also teamed up with dylAn of the MSFTSrep crew for "Bike," "11:30pm" and "Moon in My Room."
