Baton Rouge Woman Arrested Wearing Victoria’s Secret Merchandise Stolen During Armed Robbery
If you steal a ton of stuff during an armed robbery, it's probably not the best idea to wear it in public.
Apparently, Alicia R. Maloid didn't get the memo because when detectives with the Mandeville Police Department tracked her down after a week of following leads stemming from an armed robbery of the Mandeville Victoria's Secret she was wearing—you guessed it—Victoria's Secret.
According to a post on the official Mandeville Police Department Facebook page, the Baton Rouge woman was taken into custody at her residence and will be taken back to St. Tammany Parish where she will face a charge that carries a minimum 10 year sentence.
A search warrant on Maloid's residence "turned up several articles of Victoria's Secret merchandise" but the wildest part is that Maloid was actually wearing a VS "Pink" brand shirt upon her arrest.
Let this be a lesson not to steal, but also that wearing the merchandise you likely stole during the crime isn't the best look either.
Police say the investigation continues.
