A video of a woman being detained by Scott Police is sparking mixed reactions on social media.

The since-deleted clip opens as a woman is being taken to the ground by Scott Police. A tow truck can be seen in the background of the video.

The Facebook user who uploaded the clip claimed that Scott police officers forced the woman up against a car and then slammed her to the ground before sitting on top of her after she was allegedly trying to get info about her vehicle being towed.

Scott police department. In what world do you need to force a woman against a car and then slam her to the damn ground and then sit in top of her! All because she was trying to get info about her car being towed and they were ignoring her

Police were shouting commands at another person who was out of the frame for most of the video, although her involvement isn't immediately clear.

Reactions to the video on social media were mixed, with some expressing their frustration with how police handled the female in the clip while others needed to see more before offering up any judgment of the situation.
