Members of the WWE "Universe" are disappointed in Lafayette, Louisiana.

FULL DISCLOSURE: I am not a fan of soap operas. I recognize the athleticism required, but do not relish in the violence (or simulation of violence) depicted at wrestling events such as these.

With that being said, there has been much chatter about the crowd at WWE the other night at the Cajundome. The crowd appeared to be somewhat subdued and that reaction was, by some, attributed to a lack-luster line-up for that night's card(s).

The WWE's Pat McAfee, on the other hand, says that it's not the crowd's fault:

It's not their fault. They could have never known that they, as a group, weren't supposed to be a live audience together. - Pat McAfee, Youtube

McAfee goes on to suggest that the Lafayette, Louisiana crowd isn't part of the "WWE Universe" and, in the next breath, assumes that the Cajundome crowd will "show up" the next time WWE comes "back down there into the bayou".

What are your thoughts?
