After being sent back to jail last week for violating his bond in his domestic violence case, XXXTentacion is getting some more unfortunate legal news. According to TMZ, the 17 rapper has reportedly been hit with eight more felony charges for witness tampering, stemming from recorded phone calls in jail from 2016.

The outlet says that prosecuting documents show that prosecutors believe that X engaged in the witness tampering back in October 2016 when he was initially arrested for domestic violence and accused of beating his then-pregnant ex-girlfriend. While making multiple phone calls behind bars at the time, law enforcement officials have been able to gather evidence of alleged witness tampering, as the phone calls are all recorded.

Now that he is being hit with eight more felony charges, it brings his total up to 15. He is being held without bond at the current moment and will likely remain there into until his trial date. Reports also say that the South Florida native no longer has phone privileges due to the new evidence. There's no word if he will get his privileges back before the end of his trial.
