YNW Melly is following through with his plan to drop an album from behind bars.

On Monday night (Nov. 18), a cover for the Florida rapper's upcoming album appeared on his Instagram timeline. The artwork features Melly and his alter ego Melvin standing side-by-side. Within the caption, Melly confirms the release date for his Melly Vs. Melvin project.

"MELLY VS MELVIN . FRIDAY 11/22," Melly's caption says.

Melly first informed fans about the follow-up to his sophomore album We All Shine back in August. The imprisoned rapper uploaded a fresh photo of himself to Instagram after he received a visitor. In the photo, we can see Melly flashing his signature grin while dressed in an orange jumpsuit. Melly revealed the album title in the caption of the post.

"Album on the way everybody," Melly wrote. "Y’all ready #MellyVsMelvin."

Melly also told his fans about his plans to drop another mixtape called Free M&M back in April. However, that project has yet to see the light of day on streaming services. That hasn't stopped Melly from leaking new music from prison.

In May, Melly appeared on Lil Keed's "Pull Up" alongside Lil Uzi Vert. A couple of months later in July, Melly's team dropped "Dangerously in Love (772 Love Pt. 2)," which was inspired by the title track on Beyoncé's debut album, Dangerously in Love and samples Destiny's Child's "Cater 2 U."

YNW Melly has been locked up since February of this year and faces the death penalty for two counts of first-degree murder.
