Rapper Young Jeezy is facing some serious charges, including false imprisonment, battery and making terroristic threats against his own son.

Based on documents obtained by TMZ, Jeezy and his son got into an altercation when the rapper threw his kid into a glass shower door, punched him into the face, dragged him into a bedroom, threw him on a bed and kept hitting him.

The reports go on to say that Jeezy threatened to kill him, choked him and claimed, "I will put a bullet in your head right now ... If I could get away with it, I would kill you."

Even more horrifying? When the boy tried to escape Jeezy's bodyguard blocked his exit.

Said event occurred in September of 2012 and the rapper turned himself in on Friday when a warrant was issued by a grand jury for each charge against Jeezy.

He was later released on $45,000 bond.

Added his lawyers about the situation, "We have no doubt this matter will resolve itself appropriately. At this moment, Mr. Jenkins is thankful for the support of his fans and the respect for his family's privacy."
