YoungBoy Never Broke Again won't be heading to jail for the assault and kidnapping charges he caught nearly two years ago.

According to a report TMZ published Thursday (Dec. 19), the "Bring Em Out" rapper pleaded guilty to misdemeanor simple battery family violence. As a result, prosecutors reportedly dropped the other charges, including kidnapping and aggravated assault.

NBA YoungBoy was able to dodge jail time, but he was sentenced to 12 months of probation and he's required to take anger management classes. He also reportedly paid a $1,500 fine. The Baton Rouge, La. rapper is not allowed to have any violent contact with his then-girlfriend Jania, who was the victim in the case.

"We resolved the case as best we could without her cooperation," the Ware County D.A. George Barnhill said of the matter.

The aggravated assault and kidnapping charges were brought on after Youngboy body-slammed his girlfriend in February 2018 before dragging her back into his Georgia hotel room. Despite the leaked surveillance video that was taken from the hotel's security camera, Jania claimed that they were just playing around.

While Jania did not want to press charges at the time, YoungBoy was charged with the kidnapping and aggravated assault of his girlfriend just four days after he was released from Ware County Jail on $75,000 bond. She also didn't want to cooperate with authorities and told the D.A.'s office that she would not testify against YoungBoy. The celebrity news site notes that this is the reason for the aforementioned plea deal.

This report arrives days after YoungBoy was let off probation early for a 2016 shooting case.
