YoungBoy Never Broke Again was reportedly involved in a shooting near the Trump International Beach Resort in Sunny Isles Beach, Fla. that left one person dead and two others injured, on Sunday (May 12).

The shooting occurred around 1:30 p.m, reports the Miami Herald. According to witnesses on the scene, NBA YoungBoy and his crew got into an argument with a group of men that escalated to gunplay. The rapper's female companion, who was said to be his girlfriend, was reportedly shot during the gunfight. A man on the scene was struck by a bullet and died. Witnesses are saying he was an innocent bystander.

Police report another shooting occurred shortly afterward on the westbound entrance of the William Lehman Causeway. In that incident, a driver was shot. The victim in that shooting suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities are trying to figure out whether both incidents are related.

"An incident happened in Sunny Isles. We are working with investigators to see if they are related. Neither indicates a hate crime or terrorist event," Aventura police said.

Paramedics transported the 19-year-old woman, whom the Miami Herald reported as being YoungBoy's girlfriend, to the nearby Aventura Hospital and Medical Center. Her condition remains unknown at this time.

The shooting caused a large amount of police to gather at the scene. Footage of the aftermath of the incident shows paramedics trying to tend to those in need. Police are on the hunt for three suspects who they say were armed with an AK-47 and several handguns. They are also searching for a silver GMC Yukon with the Florida license plate BNE 3360. Local reports say a road rage incident may have preceded the argument and shooting.
