Youngsville Celebrates Holiday Season with Festive Roundabout Tour
The holiday season in Youngsville is now in full swing, marked by the city's unique and vibrant 'Christmas in Youngsville' Roundabout Tour. This festive event transforms the city's roundabouts into a dazzling display of Christmas themes, offering a delightful experience for residents and visitors alike.
Starting on Friday night, the city lit up its roundabouts, each adorned with a different holiday theme.
In what can be likened to a scavenger hunt for Christmas cheer, there are nine uniquely decorated roundabouts to discover.
This tour can be a planned family outing or a spontaneous adventure while driving through Youngsville during the holiday season.
In addition to the roundabout tour, the City of Youngsville has announced a series of exciting holiday events. The official lighting of the roundabouts will feature Bon Temps Santa and Mrs. Claus, setting the tone for a season filled with joy and community spirit.
On Saturday, November 25th, the Youngsville Chamber of Commerce will host 'Shop the Sweet Life' from 9 am to 3 pm, a shopping extravaganza promoting local businesses and artisans. This event is part of the broader initiative to encourage shopping locally this holiday season, further detailed at www.ShopYoungsvilleFirst.com.
The same day marks the opening of 'Youngsville On Ice,' a winter wonderland attraction that will remain open until December 31st. The opening day will be celebrated with a special event at 6 pm, including a ribbon-cutting, lighting of the Christmas tree, performances by the Figure Skating Club of Louisiana, and live music by Ray Boudreaux. More information is available at www.YoungsvilleOnIce.com.
Further adding to the festivities, on Thursday, December 7th, the Creme de la Creme Event Venue will host the Leadership Youngsville Class IV Graduation, followed by the Youngsville Chamber of Commerce Christmas Social.
The city's celebrations will continue with the Jingle Bell Knock Storefront Decorating Contest on Friday, December 15th, presented by the City of Youngsville and the Youngsville Chamber of Commerce.
With the roundabout tour, shopping events, ice skating, and community gatherings, Youngsville is setting a festive tone for the holiday season. These events not only add to the city's charm but also foster a sense of community and local pride during this special time of year.
Merry Christmas, Youngsville! Let the festive season begin.
