Your Auto Insurance Might Be Getting Cheaper This Summer
How about some possible good news? It looks like there's a chance you might be saving some money this Summer by way of Louisiana's second-largest auto insurer decreasing their rate.
WAFB reports Insurance Commissioner Jim Donelon has approved Progressive Security Insurance Company's "rate filing for a decrease of -2.2% on new and renewed policies".
If you have your auto insurance with Progressive you are expected to see the rate decrease in late Summer.
The rate cut applies to private passenger auto policies.
Insurance Commissioner Jim Donelon tells WAFB he hopes this is just the beginning of good things to come as companies compete for business.
