On Sunday, the youth of Baton Rouge staged a peaceful protest in downtown Baton Rouge that included a march to the state capitol.

Along the way, there were cheers by the participants, the sounds of a brass band, and the youth of Baton Rouge offering up "high fives" to the police along the route.

According to Baton Rouge Police and Louisiana State Police, this was a very peaceful protest in downtown Baton Rouge. It was organized and it was without incident.

Things were not so peaceful in other parts of downtown Baton Rouge as some protestors, many believed to be from out of town, attempted to make their way on to I-10. Their attempt was intercepted by police.

What a refreshing thing to see in Baton Rouge. The youth of the city make have just set the example for other's.
