YouTube has suspended President Donald Trump’s channel for what they say will be "at least a week".

YouTube, owned by Google, says their decision has been made to suspend President Trump's account due to "concerns over ongoing potential for violence”.

The channel currently remains live, but under the 7 day suspension no videos can be uploaded and no live streaming can take place. Comments on videos currently uploaded to President Trump's channel have also been suspended.

YouTube statement via WBRZ -

"After careful review, and in light of concerns about the ongoing potential for violence, we removed new content uploaded to the Donald J. Trump channel and issued a strike for violating our policies for inciting violence."
