I couldn't believe my eyes and ears when I saw KATC's report on a Scott man who was accused of biting a chunk out of the face of his victim. The first thing I thought was "OMG, the Zombie Apocalypse is upon us," but then I remembered, "No you idiot, zombies aren't real" (or are they?). Regardless, this is crazy.

A few days ago we told you about the young lady in Scott who had her $8,000 wheelchair stolen from her at a local campground. Days after the fact, the wheelchair mysteriously showed up at the Scott Maintenance Facility.

This weekend we, along with our media partner KATC-TV 3, reported that a local woman with cerebral palsy had her electronic wheelchair stolen from a local campground. Since the report broke several local people have come forth and offered up donations. One family in Acadiana even went the distance to give the family a wheel chair so that Lacey could get around. Well we have some good news to pass along to you now!!

We would all like to congratulate the city of Scott for being designated the Official "Boudin Capital Of The World!!!" Yes, the prestigious honor was given to the small town by the Louisiana Legislature in a 35-0 unanimous vote. With this honor, the small southern town now has bragging rights over other small towns in South Louisiana.
