12-year-old Mike Wimmer of Salisbury, North Carolina has accomplished something most people will never accomplish. In the same week, this bionic 12-year-old is graduating high school and college.

During the pandemic, Wimmer used his downtime to take extra classes in school. While most of us were stuck at home overeating, this kid was doing something with his life.

Over the last year, Wimmer didn't just sit around doing nothing, he worked tirelessly on his education completing four years of high school and a two-year associate's degree all in one year.

Mike Wimmer told CNN he has an interest in robotics. He enjoys math, science and technology. And although his classmates are younger, he gets along with them very well.

Mike is looking at several different job offers at this time. He may even continue his education. The world is his playground and he plans to explore everything.

This amazing young man will be graduating from Rowan-Cabarrus Community College on May 21. 2021. In the same week, on May 28, 2021, Mike Wimmer will also graduate from Concord Academy High School.
