2 Chainz Rejected a Role on ‘Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta’
2 Chainz keeps it real on his debut LP ‘Based on a T.R.U. Story,’ but he wasn’t ready for reality television. During an interview with Baltimore radio station 92Q, Chainz revealed that he was asked to join the cast of ‘VH1′s Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta’ show but declined.
While his life story maybe an open book to his fans, Tity 2 Necklace says he wasn’t ready for the cameras to record his every move. “They tried numerous amounts of times to get me on the show,” he explained. “I just didn’t want to have nothing to do with it. I’m gonna be on the road, they gonna be somewhere just like, in your girl face, with another girl talkin’ about another girl. Man, please.”
2 Chainz then offered an idea of his own reality show that involves couples called ‘Love Boat.’ “We’d be in the middle of the ocean with it,” he says. “And they gonna have to get they mind right, ’cause how you gonna get home? Ain’t no calling a cab out here, baby, we are in the middle of the Atlantic.”
“And we’ll send people home on a raft,” he continues. “If you don’t like what’s going on here we are going to send you home on a raft that will get you to land.”
Back on solid ground, 2 Chainz is currently on a promotional tour in support of his album ‘B.O.A.T.’ To peep his itinerary, click here.
